New Cover Art for my Novels!

Hello, Everyone!

Got some exciting news! After some searching and a trip through the grape vine I finally found an artist magnifique to create some cover art for me. His name is Wojtek Kapusta and you can find his work at www.wojtekkapusta.com .

The process was easy for me! I had already made a simple mechanical drawing for my rover to help me visualize the vehicle as I wrote it. Wojtek Kapusta took my simple drawing and did a 3D model rendering, then we worked out the details needed for the story. For instance, he’d created a cool, high-tech, remotely operated, single gun turret for his early rendering, but in the story the turret has two guns with a place for a person’s head and shoulders to stick up inside. I told him what was needed and boom – it was done. (Some might say I was being too particular about the details, but science fiction readers are smart people who notice little inconsistencies. They deserve that I get it right!)

I’ve attached a copy of my original drawing, as well as the steps to the final book cover. I hope you enjoy it.

Already there have been some positive reviews that mention the cover art and the books are getting some extra notice! This year (if COVID allows) I plan to get a table and have my work available at several Sci-Fi and Comic Con conventions. I will publish details as I firm up plans. Going to the conferences will give me a chance to meet all of you! Look for the table with the really cool posters!
