Cover art for newly released Seed of Aldebaran!

Hi, Everyone!

In my last blog entry I was talking about the amazing new artist I found who is creating cover art for me. (Wojtek Kapusta – find his work at https://wojtekkapusta.com/ ) I showed you the steps we went through, from my humble mechanical drawings to his 3D renderings to the final cover art. Mariner Valley had been previously released and needed a new cover, but my latest novel Seed of Aldebaran was going to get amazing cover art right from the start.

I’ve pasted below a similar progression, from a drawing I did to the final cover art. I know it takes a lot of time and skill to produce a good novel, but work like this is magic to me! I hope you enjoy exploring the process!

So far the excellent art work seems to be working. Sales are bumping up and the reviews are great! One of them even mentions the cover! I think I’m finally on the right track to getting my work noticed. He’s already working on art for a novel I recently completed and I’m working on a drawing for a novel I’m writing now, all part of the same series. Very exciting!
