Meet me at the Ancient City Con in St. Augustine, FL

Hey, everyone! Welcome back to my website, and a hearty welcome to my new subscribers!

It feels good to finally be getting back in the saddle of writing and traveling to book fairs and Sci-Fi cons. This weekend I will be at the Ancient City Con in beautiful St. Augustine, FL! This will be my first time attending this particular con and I hear it’s a good one. The weather is supposed to be nice and there will be plenty to see and do there. Come on out if you’re in the area. (One fan I know will be traveling from Spring Hill to attend. That’s dedication! I will be happy to see him there.)

As usual at these cons, I will have AlCent Sagas: Book One – Formation available for free on Kindle. (It’s always available on Kindle Select.) Recently I had a successful book promoter tell me that giving away free books, even the first book of a series, is a bad idea. He said it makes my books seem like they have no value. I figured it was a way to introduce people to my work. What do you think? Have you found my books to be valuable? Did the first free one make you want to read the other books in the series?
