Hello, everyone, and a big welcome to my new subscribers!

Well, we’re back from the Ancient City Con and it was a great weekend! At first I was a little concerned about the seemingly remote location, but this con is well known and there was a big turnout! We had a fun time meeting and connecting with lots of new people and introducing them to my work. I sold a lot of books to new fans too so once you read them, be sure to let me know what you thought about my stories. And please remember to leave a review on Amazon or wherever. It really helps introduce my work to others!

First of all, the hotel was really cool. The interior reminded me of the atrium of the ISS Malabar. (That’s the ship featured on the cover of AlCent Sagas: Book One – Formation.) As I may have mentioned at the con, the Malabar is the interplanetary luxury freighter that is a major scene of action in Book One.

This is where we are introduced to the insurgent characters Rusla and Oruc who take control of the ship. We are also introduced to Captain Ibrahim Khan and First Officer Gary Finley who are also major characters in the series.

I was also fortunate to talk to so many people about space, astronomy, and science fiction. And the cosplay outfits were some of the best I’ve seen at these cons! (You don’t get to see outfits like this at your average book fairs.) Here are some of the ones who came by my table.

And for heaven’s sake, let’s not forget the robots. Droids are people too!

All in all it was a great weekend and I look forward to going back next year! I hope to have another novel written by then. I’m still in the research phase now studying some of Nikola Tesla’s experiments! It’ll be a paranormal sci-fi and I think you’ll like it!
