Hey, Everyone, and a big welcome to my new subscribers! Good news! This weekend I’ll be at the Miami Book Fair at the Miami Dade College campus where they will have streets blocked off for a cornucopia of books for sale in all directions! Last year they had 60,000 people turn out and it was a blast. For those of you who have seen me at a con or book fair, you know I like to stand up and tell people about my books. Last year at the MBF I went home every night with sore feet and laryngitis! I had to eat lemons and rest my voice until the next day. My wife was fine with my lack of talking but my teeth started to feel gritty after all the lemons, but it was well worth it. I met so many new fans, some of whom told me they’d like to come back to get new books to replace the hurricane-damaged free ones they’d gotten last year! That is very humbling.

And if for some reason you’ve read some of my work, but still haven’t started the AlCent Sagas series yet, this weekend, Friday, Saturday, and Sunday, I will be giving away Kindle copies of Book One for free! (See the link below!) I’ve been talking with a book publicity expert who says that I shouldn’t do it, but I still feel it’s a great way to introduce people to my work. One day I may have to try things his way, so be sure to get them while you can! Tell your friends! Tell your book club members! And for goodness sake, leave reviews! That’s the digital equivalent to word of mouth, and I’m still working to overcome my hurricane setback.

So come on out to the Miami Book Fair this week end. I believe I’ll still be near the empanada place to maybe we can have a snack together! See you there!
