Hi, everyone! I have great news! I’ve been accepted to the UltraCon 2024 in West Palm Beach, FL! It’s going on over the weekend of September 20-22nd and I’ll be there at a corner booth on Friday, Saturday, and Sunday! This will be one of the biggest ones I’ve attended. Last year they had 12,000 people come out so I’ve already ordered more books! Make plans to come and see all kinds of activities, guests, and cool stuff!
Also, this will be the first convention I’ve attended where I’ll have all five science fiction books of the AlCent Sagas series available, so I’ll have an UltraCon special to buy the whole set for a significant discount! (And I’ll have freebies to go with them.) And you can meet me there so we can enjoy some witty banter together. I’ll even sign the books! It’s November 16 n 17 in Port St Lucie. It’s way smaller than Ultracon and closer to you in Tampa. I went to PalmCon in Delray earlier in the year and it was nice, so we might go.

Hello, Brian! Good to hear from you! I’m sorry it took so long to get back with you. We got home yesterday afternoon to hurricane warnings for our house so we’ve been busy getting everything ready. (I am very tired tonight.) But we’ll be as ready as we can be.
I’m glad you’re enjoying Mariner Valley. As I was working with my narrator on it for Audible, I realized that I’d forgotten how much I liked that story. I have some continuing stories for Ben O’Ryan (and that setting) in my mind for the near future. I’ll keep you posted. And thanks in advance for the review. They are so important for a writer!
And I will definitely look into the PalmCon. I will be at the Miami Book Fair either that weekend or the next (I have to look at my calendar), but even if I can’t make it this year, I definitely want to be there next year. It’s easier on me to travel to the Florida cons. (They expect 100,000 people to be at the Miami Book Fair, so it’s a big opportunity, though I’m a little nervous!)
